La Nucia
 

La Nucia is situated in a quiet valley 10 km from Benidorm, 53 km from Alicante and 115 km from Valencia. Bordering La Nucia northwards are the villages of Polop and Callosa d'en Sarria. Eastwards is Altea, to the south is L'Alfaz del Pi and to the west is the popular resort of Benidorm.

Sports & Activities: The environment around La Nucia is a paradise for mountain bikers, walkers and hikers. Each year, thousands of athletes come to enjoy this unique combination of sport and nature in and around La Nucia. The mountainous landscape is a real challenge for every cyclist and hiker.

La Nucia markets: Every Sunday, La Nucia hosts one of the best known flea markets on the Costa Blanca. Over 400 trading stalls are set up. Other markets around La Nucia are lively bustling places.

Festivals & Fiestas: In La Nucia, there are traditional festivals and fiestas all year around. Many local families, young and old, eat and sing the entire night away to typical Spanish music and rhythms. La Nucia has some lively nightlife too with places staying open until the early hours of the morning. Several La Nucia bars and  restaurants offer live music and some hotels have after dinner dancing.
