HALF AND HALF: This project in Benissa, Alicante was initially an old ruin which was used as a base to build this large 240 sq.m house. The house was designed and created by Alicante Property's master-builder - a property that fits perfectly and aesthetically into the local area. The property's design is typical of this region's homes with its square naya (ground floor terrace) at the side and arched naya at the front for dining, shade and breeze during the hot summer months. Plus the second storey is also typical as the upper floors look out over the tiled rooves of the ground floor nayas.

The upper floor is built on top of the natural stone ground floor in brick, rendered and painted, hence the half/part natural stone and half/part brick category.

The small room in front of the house was built over a tiny ruin originally used for drying grapes and other fruits, seeds and plants. Cost approximately €800-€1100 per sq m. All quoted building work included in this estimate is to a specific standard and quality.
