HALF AND HALF: This project in Benissa, Alicante was essentially a ruin which was used as a starting point to build a large 300 sq m part natural stone and part brick-built house. The house was designed and created by Alicante Property's master-builder - a property that fits perfectly and aesthetically into the local area. This house is situated in a stunning and lush location. The property's design is typical of this region with its square nayas (ground floor terrace) for shade, dining and breeze during the hot summer months. Plus the second storey is also typical of houses in this area looking out over the tiled rooves of the ground floor and the nayas. An enchanting little terrace from one of the bedrooms has been built into the tiled roof as can be seen in the photo above.
